O V Workshop do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Tecnologia de Alimentos e I Ciclo Internacional de Palestras do Campus Rio Verde do IF Goiano, ocorreu no período de 7 a 11 de dezembro de 2020, nesta quinta edição o Workshop veio com a proposta de internacionalização do programa, e desta forma, diferente das edições anteriores, o evento foi totalmente on line, proporcionando, portanto, a participação de congressistas de diferentes regiões do Brasil, além de países como Peru, Chile, México, Estados Unidos, Portugal, Espanha e Alemanha.
