uma revisão sobre os efeitos do resveratrol no desempenho físico e esportivo

Compostos fenólicos têm se revelado importantes moléculas no metabolismo humano. Dentre estes, o resveratrol, encontrado principalmente na casca de uvas vermelhas, tem sido apontado como um promissor adjuvante no tratamento e prevenção de doenças. Recentemente, o potencial ergogênico do resveratrol tem sido investigado, entretanto, apresentando resultados divergentes. O objetivo desta revisão foi analisar e discutir estudos que avaliaram os efeitos da suplementação com resveratrol sobre o desempenho em exercícios físicos. Foram utilizados os termos de busca resveratrol, physical exercise, exercise training na plataforma PubMed, resultando em 18 estudos elegíveis aos critérios de seleção. Os estudos selecionados confirmam a inexistência de um consenso na literatura científica sobre o potencial ergogênico do resveratrol. Os estudos selecionados não apontam um resultado comum e, até mesmo intervenções experimentais semelhantes, apresentam resultados divergentes.
