The Patogenicidade e virulência de fungos entomopatogênicos no controle de Euschistus heros

O percevejo-marrom da soja Euschistus heros, é considerado uma das pragas mais importantes da cultura da soja. Este estudo investiga a patogenicidade dos fungos entomopatogênicos Metarhizium anisopliae, Cordyceps javanica e o Beauveria bassiana no controle de E. heros. Dentre os fungos em estudo, o Metarhizium anisopliae se destacou na mortalidade dos insetos. Para explorar mais informações, a pesquisa avaliou a virulência com diferentes concentrações do M. anisopliae, revelando que as concentrações de 6,15x108 conídios/ml (8,13 g/L) e 6,15x109 conídios/ml (81,3 g/L) resultaram em altas taxas de mortalidade, especialmente a partir do 5º dia após a aplicação. Os resultados indicam que Metarhizium anisopliae é uma alternativa viável para o manejo integrado de pragas, promovendo uma agricultura mais sustentável e reduzindo a dependência de inseticidas químicos. O estudo ressalta a importância de mais pesquisas para otimizar o uso de fungos no controle biológico.
